I was reminded today of how Ed stayed-up hours and hours one night helping me practice before a top 8 the next day. His friends successes were always his successes and his loyalty and willingness to go the extra mile for his friends, I won't ever be able to replace. I haven't been to a Magic event since he passed and it is going to be very difficult going to a tournament and not being able to talk about anything and everything with him between rounds (let alone post-event celebrations/commiserations and goldschlager). I don't think it will ever be the same. I miss you mate.
